株式会社架空線(the “Company”) handles the personal information of users of “Comachi” (the “Service”), a manga-making support service, as set out below, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “APPI”) and other laws and regulations.

2. Information We Collect
The Company collects the following information.

Author page information is public only while at least one manga is listed, and anyone can view it. It may also appear in search engines and in social media previews. When no listed manga remain, it becomes private. Your bio, links, and icon can be changed or deleted at any time from the settings screen. Nothing other than author page information, such as your email address, is ever made public.
3. Purposes of Use
- Providing the Service, identity verification, and maintaining login status
- Improving the quality of the Service, and investigating and fixing defects
- Preventing unauthorized use and responding to violations of the Terms of Service
- Analyzing the cost of using AI features and managing usage limits
- Billing and payment for paid services, and granting and managing credits
- Notifying Users of important information (specification changes, Terms revisions, outages, etc.)
- Responding to inquiries
4. Outsourcing and Provision to Businesses in Foreign Countries
(1) To the extent necessary to operate the Service, the Company entrusts the handling of personal information to the following businesses. The Company does not sell or provide personal information to these businesses for any purpose other than the entrusted work.

(2) The United States has no comprehensive federal law equivalent to Japan's APPI, although some states regulate by state law. The Company has confirmed that each processor has in place a framework that meets the standards set by the APPI (terms of service, data processing agreements, security certifications, etc.). Detailed information is provided through the contact point in Section 8.
(3) Data is sent to the AI providers above through paid APIs (business contracts). Under each provider's terms, the input and generated results that are sent are not used for AI model training or product improvement. However, each provider may retain data for a certain period (for example, OpenAI for up to 30 days) for purposes such as monitoring for misuse.
5. Security Management Measures
To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, the Company takes the following measures.
- Organizational measures: appointing a person responsible for handling personal information, and reviewing the status of handling
- Human measures: requiring those who handle personal information to maintain confidentiality
- Physical and technical measures: encrypted communications (HTTPS), minimizing access privileges, protecting administrator accounts with multi-factor authentication, and appropriate management of login credentials
- Understanding the external environment: implementing security management measures after understanding the personal information protection systems of the foreign countries described in the preceding section
6. Retention Period
Personal information is retained while the account exists. On withdrawal, the account and manga data are deleted immediately, and backups and usage logs are also deleted within 30 days of the withdrawal date. However, information that must be retained by law is retained for the required period (records of paid service transactions are retained for seven years in accordance with accounting laws and regulations).
To notify subscribers of an author's new manga, we hold the email address provided at the time of subscription. When a subscription is stopped, the address is deleted. Applications left unconfirmed for 7 days are also deleted.
7. Cookies, etc.
The Service uses cookies for the following purposes.
- Managing the authentication session to maintain login status
- Storing a random identifier to count hearts (♥) and view counts on published manga pages
Access analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) does not use cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes, and we do not use third-party advertising tracking.
8. Requests for Disclosure, etc.
- Users can export (download) and delete (withdraw) their manga data themselves from the settings screen.
- In addition, requests under the APPI for notification of the purpose of use of retained personal data, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties, and requests for disclosure of third-party provision records, should be sent by email to the contact point below. After confirming your identity (or, if made through an agent, the agent's authority), the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the law. No fee is charged.
9. For Minors
Minors should use the Service only after obtaining the consent of a legal representative such as a parent or guardian.

11. Revisions
This Policy may be revised in response to changes in laws and regulations or in the content of the Service. For significant changes, we will announce them in advance within the Service.
